US 218 to I 380. At the south end of I 380 take Iowa 27 then MO 27 to US 61. There will be a few stop lights in Hannibal MO, then interstate quality road (but with local cross roads, though no stops) to I-70. Cross over the Mississippi at St. Louis using I-270 or Louisiana and take interstates in Illinois to western KY. Or go around St. Louis on I-255 and take I-55 to Cape Girardeau and cross there to get to Kentucky. The I-35, US 18, I-380 /IA/MO 27 US 61 route is solid from MSP to St. Louis, called the Avenue of the Saints. No tolls. Don't try to pass St. Louis close by between 4 and 7 PM or 7 and 9 AM. Their interstates turn into parking lots during those hours. Gerald J.
