I knew what you were thinking,but there are still a few of us sticking with Generators.Delco soured me on alts.back in the 70s with their life expec.(12-18 months on OEMs.)NIPOs.-NIEHOFFs and Something called a METRIC DELCO(90-120 amps.)were no problem. 8-10 years.Luckily none of the STD.Delco,s went thru the fan or Rads.when they disasembled themself.If you have had good luck then stick with it,but you couldn't give me a std.Delco,Metric YES.What the difference is I don't know,but VERY few of the parts interchange.
