Hey Tim; Nice to see how its done in your part of the World. Ive seen alfalfa (we call it lucerne here) a few times in my travels around England. I'm told it makes beautiful & paletable cattle feed. But its hard to establish a crop - is that right? Again I'm told that its not a high yield, but will give several cuts. Tell me more please. I love that Rake, theres nothing like that style used here, I've seen modern versions in books & brochures on US machinery. Funny how we speak the same language yet use such different machines.
