Haying in the Ozarks

Hey we got enough rain this year to start the tractor and cut a little grass. The girls will love me this winter. Is there anything those old M"s can"t do? One picture in the album is from the bridge of the S.S. Puffy, Farmall M 1940 pulling an 845 New Holland chainer baler. Kinda tricky without a live power take off, gotta have a fast clutch foot with the manual stringer, but it works. Doggonit Allan, I don"t think you got ANYTHING as old as my equipment. Keeps us on our toes, huh. Got a buddy pulling my Dearborn rake. Now there"s a piece of equipment. That thing is older than I am, but still keeps ticking.
