I can't answer your specific questions, but here's some useful information on V-belts; calculating belt length if pulleys are equal diameter L=2C + 3.14D where L = belt length C = centre distance between pulleys D = pulley diameter 3.14 = pi rounded to two decimals calculating belt length with unequal size pulleys (approximate) L=2C + 3.14(D/2 + d/2) where L = belt length C = center distance between pulleys D = large pulley diameter d = small pulley diameter 3.14 = pi This should get you very close to the belt length. As far as widths, V-belts come in standard and high capacity sizes; Standard V-belts come in 5 cross sections; A 1/2" wide, 5/16" deep B 21/32" wide, 7/16 deep C 7/8 wide, 17/32 deep D 1 1/4 wide, 3/4 deep E 1 1/2 wide, 29/32 deep High capacity V-belts come in 3 sizes; 3V 3/8 wide 5V 5/8 wide 8V 1 wide Your NAPA store should be able to lend you a pulley groove gage to determine the size and shape of the pulley. Hope this helps. Bill.
