There's no real time table for changing the radiator hoses. The main factors deciding when you need to change one are gonna be how hot the engine has been run, the actual material the hose is made of, wether it's been soaked in oil at any point, etc. The way I always use is simply to look at them and see if their cracked, getting hard, showing a bulge or bubble, getting 'too soft' and coming apart due to being oil soaked or anything along those lines. If so it's definately time to change, if not then don't worry about it. I've seen hoses that weren't all that old blow out and I've seen lines that hadn't been touched in 30 years that were still like new. In other words there's no real timetable other than what the hose reveals when you inspect it. The only time I'll change one outside this basic criteria is if it's in a location that requires alot of work to get back into and for whatever reason I'm already working in that area. In that case I become a little more picky as to how the hose looks and if I have even the smallest doubt I'll change it. In the end it's easier to replace the hose and be "safe" knowing you've got a new one than to chance having to do alot of same work you just did in order to go back just for a hose. If it's out in the open and easy to get to, simply keep a check on it and otherwise don't worry about it til unless it looks like it needs changing. Just my .02
