I was at the local JD dealer getting parts the other day and decided to look at lawn tractors. Spied a new 125 series. Hydro, cruise, 48" deck, 20 horse v-twin briggs. Price, $1800. Plenty big for the acre and ahalf that I mow around the house. The only thing that scares me is that Briggs engine. I currently mow with a JD LX172 that is getting some age on it. That 14 horse Kawasaki engine is so smooth and quite though. Any experiance, imput on the Briggs? Thanks.
