Allan , Ya do what ya gotta do ! I do some things the same way out of necessity . If ya don't have someone to help ya - ya git er done by yourself . I set up my 300 gallon fuel tank on/with it's 8 foot stand together by myself with nothing more than the same kind of jack you are using , a broken 2x4 and a broken 4x4 . I used a cherry picker ( engine hoist ) though to take off the 15.5x38 fluid filled tire on my M by myself . It just takes ingenuity and a good sense of the laws of nature I guess . Common sense used doing a senseless act goes a long way to keeping the doctor away . Step back , plan your next move , leave an " out " , then do it . Take care ...Randy
