Another suggestion - why not hold on to those tires a while longer? There are all kinds of plans out there to recycle tires as fuel, etc. In fact, International Paper up in Ticonderoga, NY, is doing an experimental tire burn (folks in Vermont are up in arms about this, too). If successful, maybe someday companies will buy tires from us instead of us having to pay a hauler or recycler.
