The 350 & 460's were available with a Heavy-Duty rear axle option, same 2-3/4" axles the M/SM/SM-TA/400/450/560 had to carry mounted pickers. 300, Super H, H were not avail. with H-D rear axles. Dad mounted a 2M-E on His '51 M something like 21 years and never snapped an axle. About every year You'd hear of someone snapping on though. LOT of hard work getting the tractor jacked up & repaired while the picker was on. Even before the gearbox & wagon elevator was mounted you could see the rear axles bow under the weight of the 2M-E picker. The 2M-H & 2M-HD were both heavier still. I wouldn't mount a 2M-HD or 234 picker on anything smaller than a 706 w/3-1/4" axles.
