Until right now I have never heard of Rural King, let alone Rural King tractors. That said, I don't think there are very many 70 hp tractors made in the US anymore. Most, regardless of what color or whose name is on them are imports. My neighbor bought a Mahindra, it looks ok and he has been happy with it. Find out who makes Rural King tractors and base your decission on the whole group from that Mfg. Also find out where they are made and how long the company has been in the tractor business. If they are a long term company, shipping thousands of tractors to the US under lots of names, then future parts shouldn't be that much of an issue. My guess is that Rural King, the store, isn't going to take trades or do much service work, but if the discount is deep enough over what you would pay at a real implement dealer, then it's sure something to think about.
