I have a 6600 Combine, Diesel. Had problems this summer running wheat. The motor would loose rpms, and all most die if you didnt take load off of it. You could here it slowing down before you notice it on the tach., then the tach would start dropping. Idle it down, rev back to wide open, usually would be fine for about 30 seconds. Changed air filters, and getting plenty of suction, changed fuel filters, and cleaned sediment bowl, no change. However, i did let it die completly twice, let it set 1-2 minuates, and then it started fine. Unfortunatly, this was on the way back to the barn both times, so i dont know what it would have done with a full load on it. Replaced the electric fuel pump already. Is it possible that the return fuel line is plugge? All replies appreciated!
