Probably best to post under the garden tractor board here. There's a couple of fellas that live and breath Wheel Horses there. Bet they'd know. I know nothing about hydrostats, never had one. I just finished putting a 10HP in my sisters '64 6HP 604 this past Sunday, and is a manual 3 speeed. Because of the bigger 1" diameter crank shaft, had to go to a bigger pulley. Now pops wheelies in every gear (even low RPMs), and gets a foot off the ground taking off in 3rd. That wasn't my intent, and now she's scared to death of it. Gonna have to fix that this weekend, I guess. Mark
