Hi old. Turpentine??? My grandmother used to make us take a dose with sugar for something but I don"t remember what it was. Probably sore throat. I am curious though about it"s use you mentioned above. I seem to remember it being a little sticky but it has been a long time since I have seen or had any use for it. What effect does it have on metal? Does it mix with transmission fluid and does it leave a residue? Sorry for being so inquisitive but how else can we learn old and tried but fresh ideas? I think you were the feller who posted how to trap yellow jackets using a five gallon bucket, water, and meat hanging on a string. Did you know snuff is the best for wasp stings?
