I think Onstar is a big waste, it has the potential to *crew you on a lease car or truck, like when you turn it in and the dealer says "Oh lets check and see how you drove the car for the last 3 years", and he procedes to tell you that you drove 80MPh on the Eway everyday and that you didnt change the oil at the required intervals, bla, bla, bla. In my opinion Onstar is just another way for GM and big brother to monitor your whereabouts. As for locking your keys in the car, I would just say keep and extra set in your wallet and have a cell phone incase you breakdown.
