Having strange trouble with my AC model 5020 not turning over. It was running and strating fine. Shut it down. Went out 20 min. later- nothing. Checked switch, battery, & starter. All wires on switch seem to be connected. Cleaned battery post/cables, then even changed battery. Still nothing. Pulled starter/solenoid, had them checked out- OK although it had a good bit of fine dust inside (dirt, grass from mowing). Remounted the starter today and when I tried to reconnect the positive cable to battery, the starter whines and trys to start even though the key is not in the switch and the switch is not on either. Very strange, huh? Any ideas?
