And after all that work and satisfaction why in the world would he ever think of selling it?????? Resale value don't mean diddly squat unless you're trying to impress the banker with the bottom line. Cars do get expensive (lets see comparable today is what about 30,000+ in the lot, 5 minutes later about 23,000 or so??), but after all the work he's still got something to use if need be for everyday life. And have some fun in the meantime. Spending it on an old tractor that will sit in the shed to keep the rain drops off of, maybe come out for a parade or 2, is a bigger drain on the check book than a restored useable car. Me thinks you've been holed up in the tractor shop a bit too long. Get out a bit, does the mind wonders to think outside of the box once in a while.
