When he started punching in the vital stats into the ebay shipping calculator he got an error message saying it was too big for UPS. That's true and it's not. It's too big for REGULAR UPS but it can be sent UPS if you pay the oversize surcharges. The problem is not weight (it only weighs about 45 lbs), but rather overall dimensions: 49" x 30" x 10" when folded up. I looked into the cost with my local UPS guy and found it would cost way more than I paid for the jack to do that (about $120). By contrast, I've found several haulers here on the YT Mag "hauling schedule" link that will do it for $50 or $60 if the shipper can meet them in York NE on I-80 and if I meet them on I-80 in Park City. The seller is a busy guy and doesn't have time to be at a certain spot at a certain time to hand this thing over to a hauler on his way past. He's got a farm and a job, too, so I understand. It's my fault for not reading the auction carefully. It clearly states that it has to be picked up. I'm patient. I'll keep surfing the hauling schedule and one of these days someone will be coming out of St. Joe's MO, down US 36 and on up to I-80 on his way to San Francisco. The seller has been paid so he's ok with hanging on to it until such time as I can arrange transportation.

She smoked terribly and never had much power but he couldn't afford another so he was limping along with what he had. Jon's Allis has a small front loader and though it doesn't carry much, it serves his needs. It was the hard starting and low power that made him think it was time to replace the old girl. Jon called me to help him discover why his tractor wouldn't start
