Speaking from experience, you definitely don't want to leave latex paint in your garage. It will separate and you will not be able to get it mixed again. I've heard that latex caulk can also be damaged by freezing, but I've never had a problem; it must need to get a lot colder. I haven't run into problems with anything else freezing, although my garage doesn't get that cold, maybe 25F. In Maryland, I wouldn't expect you to have any problems as long as you bring in the latex paint.
