Jrry, Don"t let this be a fiasco like your 1650 plug leads. Remove the starter and do as suggested lower down the postings - check the starter will work BEFORE putting it on and off twenty times!! Save yourself lots of time and wasted effort by eliminating the obvious first. If the starter will run OK off the tractor, then check your leads connections (also suggested down below). The fact that you have power or juice at the end of the cable does NOT necessarily mean there is enough to run a starter motor. They need high amps just to get them started. Then get back here and tell us what you find. RAB
