Keith; Look for soft spots in the floor and water stains on the ceiling. Water leaks and rot spell doom for old trailers. Look at the roof, 1 peice metal is best, then rubber sheet, then metal with seams. Insure all the appliances work including the furnace, hot water heater, fridge and stove. An older trailer in good condition will hold its value pretty good. You could use it for a season or two and still get your money back should you decide to upgrade. Good luck. Roy
