Wayne, Over 90% of the traffic through TDD relay operators today is actually generated by SCAMMERS. Do not under any circumstances do business with someone via a relay operator unless you personally know them. This is a big problem that the phone companies are only just now trying to stop. Because relays can now be accessed via the net, scammers are using relays to pose as legitimate buyers and sellers. Operators are bound by law to accurately relay conversations, even though they know that the "deaf" person is actually an overseas scammer.
