Never attended a pull event with a speed limit - once you stop moving, you are done. No wonder I didn't understand the term. If the point of a tractor pull is to be the best puller, I'd not see a need for a pace tractor? Let everyone work their throttle as they pull, and get the best pull from the best tractor/driver? This would give everyone the extra 10' - equal footing - and one less issue to come up. Let the officials work on real issues? I wouldn't understand your event with a speed limit? --->Paul
