Hi Dale, there is no major problem with engine clutch on those 84 series tractor. Put genuine parts and check for bearing free play (1 1/2) inches on cluth pedal. Don't drive tractor with foot on clutch pedal, the bearing worn and the fingers also. Bernard le mécano Québec Canada
