There should be oil in the air filter container on the lower part. there are two snap over fastners, one on the front one on the rear.release these and the bottom canister will come off . There is an oil level mark in the canister, fill with motor oil to that level. That is after you clean. the gunk from the bottom. Aiso be very careful with the fastners when you reassemble. there very lightly spot welded to the upper filter and break easily
