Picked up the tractor a couple of days later and paid him. A week later he called me up and said the check had been returned for insufficient funds. I went to the bank and they said my account had been closed a couple of months earlier from not being used for a certain amount of time. The bank manager called the guy, appoligized and wired the money including fees for the returned check.
