I have a Kubota L3000DT 4-wheel drive and I just love it. It has always worked well for me. My best understanding is that Kubota is the only tractor made today without Chinese parts. I got a really good deal on mind, but if I were to do it over again I would have gotten the L2600. Mainly because I dont really need 4-wheel drive. In my area a L2600 would come in well below your cost limit.
