I have sold imported tires for 40 yr.I sell Firestone Goodyear and BF Goodrich tires and half of those are made in other countries. Most all the Goodrich are made in Poland. Some of the Firestone and Goodyear made in India and Brazil.I can buy a eight ply tire in a import from India, China or Yugoslavia for less than a four ply USA is sold and for half of the price of a eight ply tire made in the USA. Have sold thousands with no problems at all. Would like to buy American and do but for cost versus return the imports have taken over a good portion of the tire business. Quality at a price speaks for itself. My observations from selling farm tires for the last 40 yr. jimdalton/Ewell Tucker www.tuckertire.com
