Have you checked the fuel flow when this happens? Might not be electrical. Might be something constricting fuel flow from tank (like a foreign body in the tank or blocked breather on the cap). You should test for a continuous stream from the carb drain, even after the carb would normally have run dry. You could see if it will run a little longer by choking when the problem arises, indicating a fuel shortage. Do you have a spark when it dies? Could be the coil or other odd faults. What colour is your spark - should be blue and strong. If yellowish, condenser could be faulty. Hope this helps. A little more testing at your end would make a diagnosis a bit easier. Regards,RAB
