It is my opinion and it is not worth much but they knew that the tractor would be run in the field when it was being designed and built and they should have been aware that grass grows in fields and should have taken steps to prevent this type of thing. It is NORMAL use and they should stand behind it. Yes I can see their side but a warranty ia a warranty . Yes the grass may have wrapped around the shaft and caused the seal to leak. As I said before this is normal use and I do not think it is abuse Is there a warning in the manual about this. I may not have had any luck but I would push it. If it is so EASY to fix why don't they do it for customer realatiosn? I wonder if this has happened to them before and they just do not want to get started replacing them for everbody. And on the other hand it might not be a big thing but it is the little things that pile up and turn good equipment into junk. Hope you get them to see it this way and talk them into doing it for you.
