I have a 1952 D8 2U Bulldozer, quite late model (?22788) with a 2 Cyl petrol starter motor which has a hole in the liner of one cylinder. I think it is a caterpillar and am trying to find out the model or details of the pony motor to try and get some parts. I have a (copied) workshop manual, but there is no mention at all of the pony motor. I see some manuals advertised which "includes pony motor" Can anyone tell me any details of the pony motors fitted?? Thanks, Tom Rae
