THE OLD DAYS OF BREAK-IN OIL ARE GONE, WE REBUILD DIESEL TRUCK ENGINES AND I HAVE OVERHAULED ENGINES FROM CAT, CUMMINS, DERTOIT, BUDA, ALL SORTS OF GAS ENGINE AND EVEN LAWNMOWERS. I USE A GOOD GRADE OF CD ENGINE OIL AND OPERATE THE ENGINE TO IT'S CORRECT OPERATING TEMP AND APPLY SOME LOAD TO MAKE THE RINGS MOVE IN THEIR GROOVES. MONITOR FOR SIGNS OF LEAKS, COOLANT AND RUN IT
