on your purchase, and welcome to a wonderful hobby. Tractors from that era are about as dead simple as anything that useful can be. First thing to do is read the posts on this board and on the Farmall board. Lot of REALLY smart and experienced people here, as well as a lot of beginners. Whatever question you may have, chances are somebody here has had the same problem and can point you in the right direction. Can ya get back to us and give us some idea of your current level of knowledge? For instance, do you have some basic mechanical experience? Familiar with using hand tools? Know anything about engines? Know anything about tractors? Got some sort of shop or shed to work in? Does the tractor start and run? Do you want to do a full-blown "restoration" or just fix it up and use it? Once we have a general idea of where to start, lots of folks will pitch in and get you on your way. I know I will.
