The 1370 is 1000 only, changing shafts won't help. Just have to put the adapter shaft on the end and slow down rpms. Person preference here but I'd look at a tractor with 540. Not married to any color, I buy cheap horsepower regardless of paint. Ford has good 540's in the 7700 with CHA for under 10. Don't know what deal you are getting on the 1370 but it will get in your bill fold on fuel.
