this is my 2 cents worth. this is what i have been seeing, i restore tractors just like most of you do. the rare ones are getting rarer an they are bringing higher prices, that is a no brainer, but the problem is that the price is all some people are seeing, they figure that if that tractor is worth that much then my tractor my tractor should be at least worth this much, but they are thinking about what it cost to put that tractor in that condition. i restore the first nuymber series mainly. it was a pretty cheap line of tractors but it isnt any more. i have quite a few A's an B's that i have over 6 thousand in, that will not sale for any where near what i have in them. that is the problem. people are not seeing what it cost to them in that condition. i know i have repeated myself but that is what gets me hot under the collar. someone that thinks his unrestored not running tractor is worth as much as a restored tractored tractor is johndeeregene
