Hi I have just aquired a 3444 International backhoe. It needs TLC as I have to pull it to start it. It loads up if you crank it, and clears out once it's running, but lots of blow by. I can deal with the BB, but I need some parts, and as time goes by, cylenders, etc. My big problem is,,,,It doesnt steer. Someone put in a valve (I think) which shuts off the steering wheel pressure to the pump. When I push in the valve to make it work,, the unit wants to steer to the left only,,, and not bring back to the right. It sat for quite a long time, so I wonder if the piston (for the steering is shot,,or there is a filter somewhere for the steering hydraulics that is clogged.. I am looking for all and any info I can find on this tractor/backhoe...Please help,, Thanks Sean Vesely rodtech@mindspring.com
