Hello everyone. I am just getting the tractor bug..seems I have it bad. I bought a couple of acres 2 years ago, and the wife and I are starting to clear the overgrowth thats been growing for the last 50 years or so. I borrowed a neighbors Ford 1710, with bushhog, and I'm hooked. I am looking into buying a tractor for myself, not really a collectable, but something that will work for me. I have 4 acres to mow, about an acre to clear, a creek to clear (so the water flows better). I *want* a tractor that is capable of using implements such as a loader, bush hog, finishing mower (belly or rear mounted), and possibly a back hoe. I don't really know if I should buy new, or buy used. I did purchase a Used Tractor Price Guide off of Amazon, to give me an idea of used tractor prices. Thre is a John Deere, Kubota and New Holland Dealer in the area (Manassas, VA), and these are the only new tractors I have looked at. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to look for - given the above info? Thanks in advance for all your help. Ira
