i posted this on the fergie board but got no response,so maybe ya'll can help. i have a to-20 12 volt system, have it only about a month now.i cut about 10 acres and it is rough in some places.i have a problem when trying to start, sometimes i get nothing and the ammeter goes to the discharge side, other times just nothing,i bought new batt.cables 4 gauge then replaced with 2 gauge.(the wires were getting warm even though it wouldn't start).yesterday i tried starting again nothing then all of a sudden it started.before i had this problem it ran and started fine but never did it show (ammeter)charging.checked batt.it is good.i changed the starter switch also new.the setup is not a key system but a toggle switch to activate power on and off.i have followed the wires from the toggle and all other wires and everything seems to be fine.it is a negative ground and i will replace that cable today.any ideas would be appreciated. thanks in advance...............D.J. P.S. when it wouldn't start i pulled it with the p/u and it started and ran fine(no discharge)stopped refueled, started right up,parked in the barn, tried to start later ..nothing
