Population in the row is fine double drilling would be better but sureley the maturity would be too uneven unless you dessicate . Although i grow up to 800 acres of sunflowers on 38 inch rows (cultivated) when all my neighbours use 30 and we get the same yeilds , Beans here are all done with drills or air seeders mine is 7.2 inch spacing ,
