I agree! all the strengh is gone when the structure is removed. We had an old travel trailer that burned to the floor and were going to make a hauler out of it, but got to looking at the frame compared to my car trailer and decided unless I was going to haul one Yugo, It would most likely bend or break something. I would do some home work and figure out what axles and springs are under it and then figure out if the extra trussing and decking you have to have,will add too much weight to the whole thing when you get the tractor on it.
