If i'm not mistaken, the 801 is a series of tractors. Mine happens to be the 861, which many people refer to as an 801 series. I have been very pleased with the tractor. It has the 4 cylinder diesel, 5 speed. plenty of power. Pulls the 6ft hvy duty woods cutter. It is very easy to maintenance. I have the pre-heater for easy starting. It is a good tractor because there was so many sold, parts are easy to come by. It is a good 38 to 40hp. I just wish I had the power steering. Its fine with an implement, but when backing up to one, it can be a little tough. I got this one several years ago through some trading, so I dont know the value. I would imagine somewhere around 3000 to 3500 with the imps. Bare probably around 25 to 2800. Mine was overhauled and has been painted.

Jon called me to help him discover why his tractor wouldn't start
