If you know the horsepower at any rpm, you can also calculate the torque at that RPM. If you are looking for the maximum torque rating of the engine, it occurs at a lower rpm and there isn't any formula that I know of to calculate it. It depends on engine design and the only way you have to get the 'torque curve' is from a run on the dyno. -- bbott
