I bought a 51 WD several years ago that had an adaptor much the same as orangeman described. The top link was attached to the lift arm shaft with a home formed 'U" shaped bar. The only problem I had bush hogging was that the center top link would move sideways. I solved that problem by buying 2 split collars the correct size and clamping them on both sides of the "U" bar. Worked great. I hadn't thought to use a Ford drawbar though. Incidently, I saw some Ford type lift arms listed in CT Farm catalog for something like $35 a piece, if my memory isn't playing tricks on me. Good luck.
