We went to Lee's and watched it from a field in 17. He's in Clark Range Tn. There were a few cars in the parking lot of the Cumberland Mountain General Store across the road, but not many. There wasn't much traffic around there at all when we left. We really didn't know the scope of it until we got back up to Tn 111. The traffic was insane. We needed to make a left turn and go south a few miles to the cabin. I finally managed to work my way over to the right turn lane, found enough of a gap to shoot out and head north, then made a left in to a driveway and go back south.
Some friends from here went down around Sparta I think it was. Mike said when they headed home, it took them five hours to go a hundred miles. We headed home the next morning and had WSM on the radio for as long as it would come in. It sounded like the roads, the airport, everything in Nashville was still at a complete standstill with spectators trying to get out of town.
I've gotta think there's some wide spot in the road off 127 or something, around Van Wert Ohio or that general area. I've been to enough yard sales around there to know the area a little bit.
