Hopefully this will help.
the 6640SL 12x12 trans with shuttle..... has a pedal that works a hydraulic clutch. It shares the reservoir with the brakes. Open the hood, and right side at firewall is a master plastic reservoir.... that feeds all three brake/ clutch cylinders. If its low, you will need to fill it with HYDRAULIC fluid.. NOT BRAKE fluid. then bleed the master cyl and slave cyl in the bell housing. The clutch bleed port is on the left side , if cab, its tuck just under the cab and looks like a break bleed Knipple. Luckly you can push the pedal down and bleed at the same time due the both are on the left side of the tractor.
ALSO on the clutch pedal... is also a interlock cable that is adjusted to when the pedal is all the way down, the cable is tight and operates a shuttle safety lock. So the cable is in addition to the hydraulic cyl. If this cable fails, you can NOT shift the forward/Reverse lever and it will be locked in neutral.
Question is.. where is the hyd fluid going? And that requires a repair..

She smoked terribly and never had much power but he couldn't afford another so he was limping along with what he had. Jon's Allis has a small front loader and though it doesn't carry much, it serves his needs. It was the hard starting and low power that made him think it was time to replace the old girl.
