I think a lot of us older codgers grew up at a good time. I always had an old car or a motorcycle to tear up the country side as soon as I was able to drive. We always had a few months we had to help Dad on the farm. Never liked that much, but as I look back, it thought us kids some good work ethics. Dad acquired a Toro golf coarse tractor. It looked a similar to your doodle bug. He was going to cut it for scrap. I talked him out of it. I got it running, It had duel rear wheels.
