tried what Shawn said removed left side battery tray bolt and no hole. Removed right side and seemed to have a hole but wouldn,t take oil. My subject line is supposed to say 1949 Ford 8n. I currently have no steering issues and dont want any. i used to be user name Kastbrg but the site wants a password and i havent been on in 4 or 5 years. Anyway gave up on gearbox oil for now and moved on to installing a wiring harness i bought 4 or five years age along with a real key switch. ordered a regulator and a light switch and a ford emblem for the hood and cleaned and blew out the fuel shut off and now runs and charges 6,5 volts. Must be my day!
