You will need a 1.5 gal pump up sprayer And a quart of roundup, 41% glysophate. Wait until spring when the beds start turning green Then spray them down with your herbicide (not poison) and wait a week you should see everything that was growing in there turn brown. Born that off if you can. Then plant your flowers. Hand weed thereafter. If you don't have time to take care of the flowerbeds just fill them with mulch after the roundup.
