When I did my Dodge over 4 years ago those weren't available.I had a bad frame,so I found a good one and stripped the truck to replace it.The nice frame I found was from an extra cab,but mine was a regular,so I had to cut a foot out of the middle and reposition the rear cab hangers on the frame.I stripped all the riveted hangers, and any riveted crossmembers.I blasted and treated everything before I put it back together. My cab mounts were bad,and I was going to fix them before remounting the cab. But,I found a better cab that just needed rockers. If I could have bought those cab mounts back then I probably would have fixed it.One good thing about the Dodge compared to other makes,is that the cabs are all made alike.Gas,diesel, instead of making a different cab to clear different engines and transmissions they just make bigger mounting pads. The wiring harnesses look like a nightmare, but they are all plug in,and you just can't put them in wrong. It took me about three weeks, but that same Cummins powered truck with the aluminum flatbed and plow was $64,500 My father said that is the most money you'll ever make in three weeks.

Jon's Allis has a small front loader and though it doesn't carry much, it serves his needs. It was the hard starting and low power that made him think it was time to replace the old girl.
