I posted about this awhile ago. I finally got back to work on it.
It sat for years before I got it. It had a couple stuck injectors but the freed up pretty easily by prying them up with a screwdriver. I had the valve cover off and lines off and primed each one when I put it back together. To my amazement it started right up ether free. A few days later it wouldnt start. I think it lost its prime but maybe not. I finally got back to it a few days ago and had to use ether to get it to start. I put it up forsale and think its sold but it doesn't want to start. I put my torpedo heater on it and got it fairly warm. Its 60F here today. It turns pretty fast but wont take off. I'm about ready to pull the rocker cover again and prime them individually again. I have hood flow coming out of the return and it smokes like a banshee. Sounds great when its running. Am I missing something or is it just wore out. I'm not sure where to set the throttle for starting? I had a 1900 oliver with a 4-53. It always started with no ether or heat. This one is a 3-53.

What’s even more amazing is that all the principals of hydraulic theory can be wrapped up in such a small package. This same package applies to any hydraulic system from the largest bulldozer to the oldest and smallest tractor. This short series will take a look at the basic layout of a simple hydraul
